Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
Chicken thighs (boneless, cut into chunks)
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tbsp chili sauce
1 onion, sliced
1 cucumber, diced
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1/3 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp black pepper
Add as Your Preference
Fresh coriander, chopped
Olive oil
Juice of ½ lemon (implied in the marinate step — preserved for recipe logic)
Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate
In a large bowl, combine chicken with olive oil, yogurt, chili sauce, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, cinnamon, cumin, and black pepper. Mix well and let rest for 10–15 minutes.
2️⃣ Bake
Spread the marinated chicken on a baking tray.
Top with sliced onions, drizzle with olive oil, and season with extra pepper.
Bake in your Zachvo MS-602A Oven at 200°C for 40 minutes, until golden, tender, and slightly charred on the edges.
3️⃣ Make the Sauce
While the chicken bakes, prepare a cooling yogurt sauce by mixing leftover yogurt with dill and black pepper.
4️⃣ Serve
Remove the tray from the oven.
Spoon the yogurt sauce over the chicken, add diced cucumber and fresh coriander, and enjoy your shawarma-style dinner straight from the pan.
