Orange Iced Americano

Freshly squeezed orange juice is paired with rich coffee to create a refreshing Orange Iced Americano that's bright, citrusy, and perfectly balanced. Made with fresh oranges, ice, and hot coffee or espresso, this easy summer coffee recipe comes together in just 10 minutes. Garnished with an orange slice and fresh mint, it's the perfect pick-me-up for warm days, brunch, or an afternoon coffee break.

1 serving (400–450ml)

Ingredients

4 oranges (about 600–800g)
200ml fresh orange juice
1 serving instant coffee (2–3g), or 1 shot of espresso
200ml hot water (85–95°C)

Add as Your Preference

Ice cubes, as needed
1 orange slice, for garnish
1–2 sprigs fresh mint, for garnish

Instruction

1. Prepare the Coffee
Dissolve the instant coffee in 200ml of hot water (85–95°C), stirring until fully dissolved. Alternatively, brew one shot of espresso if preferred.

2. Juice the Oranges
Wash the oranges, cut them into halves or quarters, and extract the juice using a slow juicer. Measure out 200ml of fresh orange juice.

3. Assemble the Drink
Fill a tall glass about halfway with ice cubes. Pour in the fresh orange juice.

4. Add the Coffee
Slowly pour the prepared coffee over the back of a spoon onto the orange juice to create a layered effect. Stir gently before drinking if desired.

5. Garnish and Serve
Garnish with an orange slice and fresh mint. Serve immediately and enjoy cold.
